What you'll do...

Job Summary:

You'll also oversee the quality efforts of multiple facilities within your division through implementing quality standards . In partnership with Quality engineers and QA professionals, this role will ensure the supply chain operations adhere to the highest quality standards . This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to boost our business from supplier to customer.

What you'll do:

  • People Leadership: Develop your team's skills, identify knowledge gaps, and provide resources to fill these gaps. Be able to lead by influence without direct authority.
  • Communication & Influence: Effectively lead change and implement initiatives through all levels and areas of the distribution center.
  • Quality Control Systems: Develop and maintain systems to ensure all operations exceed internal and external customer expectations.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions. Define what quality data is necessary to drive the business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of quality across the organization, driving continuous process improvement and innovation.

What you'll bring:

  • Quality Management experience -the person in this role must have a strong background in quality control systems and practices. They need to develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure that all warehousing operations meet or exceed customer expectations. As well as traditional inventory management knowledge.
  • Data Analysis-The ability to analyze quality data and metrics is crucial for this role. The Director of Quality will need to use these metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions. Using various software and/or coding skills (Minitab, SQL, Python, powerBI...). Define what quality data is necessary and develop visualization to drive the business needs.
  • Communication and Influence-Effective communication is key in this role, you will need to lead initiatives and have the ability to influence buy in from multiple stakeholders.

  • We are elevating our standards of quality, serving our customers better. The supply chain is building out a Quality Management System to standardize defect detection and elimination to drive down the cost of bad quality to exceed the needs of our customer.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related area and 5 years' experience in consulting, technical project management, business strategy, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in technical project management, business strategy, or related area, 3 years' experience leading cross-functional teams, and 3 years' experience with quality management system development and execution. 2 years' supervisory experience.
