Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Performs the regular duties of the Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III and demonstrates flexibility in the 24 x 7 environment. Adaptable and supporting continuous learning. Bringing in operational excellence in Support processes and standards. Ability to deep dive on root causes and engaging appropriate stakeholders for resolving issues and rolling out permanent fixes. Develop utilities and build solutions for scalable operations.

What you'll do:

  • Be the Application support engineer for the team & also actively support team as needed. Independently own and address and resolve data and applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.
  • Perform Application support process, knowledge management, Incident management, problem management, Defect tracking, change management, Reports, SLAs. Plan, execute and implement applications and configuration change procedures.
  • Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.
  • Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of engineering, Platform support and end Users.
  • Gain and maintain expertise in flow of application process and systems related to domain.
  • Coordinate across teams and resolve all complex application and system issues ranging in complexity (Low to Critical).
  • Install and prepare tools required for proper functioning of applications on regular basis.
  • Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems.

What you'll bring:

  • You have a deep interest and passion for Support with relevant experience in Data and Application end.
  • You have a sound knowledge of operating systems, networking, databases, distributed computing, distributed file system, ETL and application stacks.
  • Good experience in microservices architecture and supporting Applications in Kubernetes environment. Its mandatory to have working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL Databases and Big query.
  • Hands on triaging skills to debug API issues.
  • You have experience in Troubleshooting issues end to end and can identify root cause using APM tools such as Grafana/Kibana/Splunk/Catchpoint or Prometheus. Ability to segregate the category of issues - UI, Application or Data.
  • Preferred to have code level analysis skills (React/Java/Javascript).
  • You have hands-on knowledge on ITSM/Service Now/OSC/Jira, Splunk/xMatters tools.
  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
  • You have strong problem solving, analytic, decision-making with interpersonal skills.
  • You are innovative, talented and committed individual with excellent communication, sprit of teamwork and Analytical abilities to drive excellence!

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
