What you'll do...
The Internship
Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2025 for MBA students graduating between December 2025 and August 2026. The paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Walmart. Work on a meaningful project, network with industry experts, and develop your skills while having an epic summer!
What you will Do:
1. Executing on a strategic vision for customer experience around fulfillment, transactions and/or post-transaction experiences.
2. Providing cross-functional leadership, conducting benchmark studies, competitive assessments, and working with teams across multiple locations.
3. Delivering on key cross-functional projects that span across multiple teams, including Supply Chain Management, Design, Product, Store Operations, and more.

4. Collaborating with the product team to build prototypes, conduct research, and user testing to ensure customer and associate-focused design.
5. Defining metrics and KPIs to measure, track business goals and prioritize our customers and associates.
6. Communicating roadmaps and priorities and collaborating across business areas for roadmap prioritization. Engaging with key partners to determine the best product and business strategies.
7. Driving the execution of multiple propositions and initiatives by identifying customer and operational needs. Developing and communicating plans and priorities to meet these needs.
8. Ensuring business and cross-functional partners' needs are met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with partners and stakeholders, and improving the overall omni-channel communication experience.
9. Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Providing direction to others in their use and application, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Open-Door Policy.
10. The intern should be ready to collaborate daily with cross-functional teams and work on multiple projects simultaneously. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be actively enrolled in an MBA degree program.
• Expected graduation date between December 2025-August 2026
• 1-3 years of full-time relevant experience
• Passion for solving problems leveraging data and technology.
• Collaboration-first working style
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Adept at extracting meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Strong time-management skills
Preferred Majors:
• MBA in Strategy, Operations or Finance

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00-$51.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
