Job Title: Specialist
Job Summary: The Specialist provides comprehensive support to the supervisor and team, ensuring efficient operation of the office. This role involves managing travel arrangements, expense reports, meeting schedules, and event coordination. Additionally, the specialist maintains accurate employment data, manages the offer and post-offer process, supports communication and training initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Create and submit expense reports.
- Schedule meetings and reserve meeting rooms.
- Organize and coordinate meetings and events.
- Monitor email and meeting requests.
- Answer and transfer calls, take messages.
- Create presentations for meetings.
- Act as a coordinator or liaison for visiting associates and guests.

Talent Movement Data:
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of employment data.
- Extract data from multiple systems and spreadsheets.
- Create reports for customers, senior management, and other stakeholders.
- Research and track key metric data.
Offer and Post-Offer Process:
- Draft offers and extend them to selected candidates.
- Escalate offer issues to senior management or other key stakeholders.
- Manage background screens and drug testing process and documentation.
- Communicate results to recruiters, candidates, and other involved parties.
Communication and Training:
- Work with leadership on new processes and implementation plans.
- Communicate new processes to field associates.
- Serve as the point of contact for questions regarding new processes.
- Train hiring managers on human resources systems.
- Assist in change management activities.
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide feedback and recommendations regarding processes to leadership.
Team Participation:
- Use and share resources, information, and tools.
- Determine customer needs and business priorities.
- Coordinate and execute work assignments.
- Provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved.
- Model and help others adapt to change or new challenges.
Process Development:
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
- Analyze and apply information from multiple sources.
- Monitor progress and results.
- Identify and address improvement opportunities.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Explain, guide, and demonstrate how to apply company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Implement related action plans.
- Use the Open Door Policy to address ethical and compliance issues.
- Assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
