What you'll do...

The Walmart fraud strategy team is looking for a n individual contributor excited about building and enhancing next generation fraud solutions for our expanding business.

This role will identify opportunities through data, drive development, prioritization, and implementation efforts across an array of business and technology workstreams contributing to the success of our fraud prevention efforts . As part of the eCommerce organization and r eporting to the Senior Manager, Fraud Strategy , you will use data to drive engagement across multiple business channels to ensure execution of initiatives reducing fraud losses while creating an enhanced customer experience .

Represent the Fraud Strategy team in collaboration with business , risk, and engineering teams to build and evaluate business cases supporting investment decision in fraud initiative s . Communicate both high level and detailed product specifications incorporating business rules, flows, cases, and user experience focused deliverables . Support product implementation and deployment by engaging with Engineering and Project Management during implementation to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions. C oordinat e post launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance testing was successful . Define, track, and improve key product metrics. Provide status reporting on fraud initiatives. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance in the application of information and best practices; support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs; and build commitment for perspectives and rationales. This position does not supervise employees.

  • Evangelizing the fraud prevention vision, and strategy with internal stakeholders


  • Synthesizing fraud events to surface vulnerabilities ; analyze and visualize large amount of data into actionable insights and be an advocate of metric-driven decision-making process
  • Building out business cases and completing ad-hoc analyses to pitch new ideas
  • Collaborating with internal business, engineering, data scientist teams and external partners to drive roadmap prioritization
  • Coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the new features work as designed, collect performance metrics and customer feedback
  • Moving fast within our agile and iterative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters: Business Administration, Master s: Computer Engineering, M asters: Computer Science

Deep understanding of product management as a practice and experience with running product scrums with engineers and data scientists . Prior experience with fraud or risk product management or related field. Understanding of ecommerce technologies, call center process flows and fraud prevention tactics . Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast and fluid environment . Ability to use data, insights & analytics, conduct market research, and generate insights to build a compelling narrative for partners from engineers to executives . Executive level presentation skills .

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
