Senior Manager, Treasury - Sam's Club Financial Services (Credit Card Marketing)

Who we are

The Sam's Club Financial Services team sits within the Growth organization at Sam's Club . Our team has responsibility for the Sam's Club credit card program , and to launch additional strategic financial services products where we can deepen relationships and engagement with our members .

We are excited to add a team member to complement our existing team - focused on delivering exceptional member experiences, integrating with our cross-functional partners, and accelerating growth.

• You are able to wear many hats to bring our financial services programs to life, demonstrating your knowledge of financial services products, marketing (both acquisition and lifecycle engagement) , data and analytics

• You are able to connect the dots between our efforts and broader company and partner goals , and help others do the same

• You are in your element in an environment where no two days are the same. Y ou can collaborate with and communicate to diverse team s ranging from marketing professionals , senior leaders, data professionals, membership and legal experts - working with all to deliver results

• You understand the importance of exceptional member experience and work to design programs that deliver this for our members . When issues arise, you work to resolve them immediately without losing sight of the root cause

• You are curious about the business - learning about both Sam's Club and the retail industry more broadly , while also keeping an eye on financial services innovations . You are inclined to challenge the status quo if better paths are available to reach objectives

• This position reports to Kara Kazazean , Vice President of Financial Services at Sam's Club

• Lead and manage marketing strategy development in conjunction with internal and external partners to ensure business goals are met, while managing a budget and supporting Financial Services and partner objectives including growth and return on investment.

• Collaborate with internal and external Marketing teams to develop and execute a marketing calendar that encompasses all channels, physical and digital, to expand and deepen engagement of Sam's Club Members with Sam's Club's F inancial S ervices products.

• Utilize your skills to leverage insights and analytics to drive business decisions to develop programs and to measure their impact on Financial Services, Sam's Club as a whole and for the partner.

• Maintain a "test and learn" mindset to understand what worked, how to refine future campaigns and drive innovation in how Financial Services goes to market.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Marketing, Engineering , Finance or related field and 4 years ' experience in Financ ial Services or related field ; OR 8 years ' experience in Financial Services

• 4 years ' experience leading and completing cross-functional projects and experience with Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and Data

• Master ' s Degree in Business Administration or related field

• 4 + years ' experience leading financial services within large retail organization or financial institutions

• 4 + years delivering results in large, complex, matrixed organizations

• 4 + years strategic planning experience; leveraging data-driven, analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making

• 2 + year s ' experience in Retail operations
