About The Role

As a Senior Manager, Technology Operations leader you will help us build and scale our Walmart Fulfillment Services' (WFS) business. In this role you will shape the defect reduction strategy, delivering solutions that ensure customers get the high-quality items they expect. Not only will you safeguard the customer experience, but you will also drive meaningful improvements to the overall program P&L.

We are looking for a customer-obsessed leader who thrives in ambiguity and change and has a passion for data-based analysis. You will lead initiatives focused on customer experience, minimizing seller effort when required and driving prioritization of investments that deliver outcomes for our customer. You will collaborate with Strategy, Operations, Product and Technology teams to deliver best-in-class solutions for a frictionless and consistent experience for sellers and customers, and to drive post-purchase P&L improvements. You will be an advocate for the customer experience and defect elimination. You will use research to understand customer needs and pain points. You will build strategic plans (short and long range) and use your ability to work across business owners, ops, finance, and supply chain teams to improve our products. Finally, you will tie it all together by diving into analytics to measure performance and apply insights back into the business and products.

The ideal candidate will have great problem-solving skills, will be extremely comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and will have exceptional analytical skills (SQL, advanced Excel, statistical modeling, etc.).   • Owns complex projects end-to-end for a business area; manages risks associated with implementation. Executes on strategy and sets priorities for own team.
  • Leads the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and support data-driven decision making. Develops data models (algorithms, approaches) for complex projects to drive business results and value.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive highly complex business areas, or ones with high strategic importance. Influences roadmap prioritization of partner teams. Has accountability for the performance and results of the team.
  • Impacts the quality and timeliness of own team's results and its contribution to business or category goals.
  • Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance.

What You'll do

  • Project Identification and Prioritization: Identify and address improvement opportunities backend by data analyses, develop business cases, and set objectives and KPIs. Support prioritization of initiatives that drive the best customer experience and business outcome and gaining buy-in from leadership.
  • Benefit Quantification: Create the case for change through analysis of financial and operational metrics, customer data, seller experience, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Partner with Product and Operations teams to develop roadmaps and metrics that can measure and monitor the end-to-end program experience. Communicate roadmaps and priorities, including engaging with key partners.
  • Collaboration: Define and lead requirements with key partners and partner with them for roadmap prioritization. Collaborate daily with cross-functional team members across business areas including Supply Chain, Product, Engineering, Finance, FC and Store Operations and more.
  • Results and Accountability: Deliver on key cross-functional projects. Define business objectives and measure progress in achieving results; demonstrate strong commitment towards goals and driving complex projects focused on reducing customer refunds/contacts, improving cost, quality, customer experience, and delivering bottom line savings.

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in business strategy, supply chain management/operations, finance strategy, or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in driving business outcomes through strategic planning, operational excellence, and financial acumen. Experience with fulfillment & logistics optimization, operational efficiency improvements, and financial modeling preferred. P&L management experience is a strong plus
  • 4+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from conception to completion. This includes driving transformative initiatives that involve strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, resource management, and successful execution of deliverables within defined timelines. Proven ability to manage change, mitigate risks, and achieve measurable business outcomes is essential
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights through data analysis, utilizing a wide range of analytical techniques to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and drive business decisions. Demonstrable advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and working with large datasets to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Must be highly organized and skilled in planning and prioritizing tasks. Need to develop and execute project plans, identify and manage risks, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - including the ability to develop and deliver complex messages in a simple, actionable way. You're comfortable influencing others, managing stakeholders, and communicating clearly.
  • You need to be proactive self-starter with a strong focus on understanding customer needs. A real go-getter who can hit the ground running, even when things aren't super clear. You've got to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Being a team player is key-you'll need to lift others up while chasing down new insights and adapting to whatever comes your way.
  • Previous eCommerce, Marketplace, or Retail experience. Reverse Logistics, Defect Elimination, or Post-Purchase experience roles a plus.

Sunnyvale, California US-04397:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

















Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
