About the Team…
Walmart’s Transportation Compliance team under Environmental Compliance and Ethics, ensures products are transported safely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations aligned with sustainability goals. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, DOT CDL Compliance. In this role, you'll be instrumental in upholding compliance and ethics standards across our regional CDL testing centers.
What you'll do...
- Addressing compliance queries, monitoring applicable laws and regulations, conducting research on policies and procedures, and working with leadership to draft and update policies and standard operating procedures
- Communicate policy information to associates, identifying potential compliance gaps, and developing strategies to effectively address these gaps
- Identify, report, and address CDL ELDT compliance concerns
- Analyze data and trends, create comprehensive reports, and present findings to senior leadership
- Recommend comprehensive resolutions and ensure follow-up with field and Home Office teams
- Oversee research on high-impact proposed DOT regulatory issues
- Conduct impact assessments and provide recommendations to leadership
- Identify stakeholders affected by proposed policies and provisions
- Research national regulatory trends and participate in gap analysis studies
- Developing corporate positions on overarching DOT CDL issues as a subject matter expert
- Uphold Walmart's policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity ensuring compliance

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience. 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
