Position Summary...
Walmart’s Global Security, Aviation, and Investigations organization is looking for a Senior Manager of Protective Intelligence to join the IROCC (Investigative Risk and Operational Compliance Center), the analytics center of excellence for Global Governance. This position supports Walmart’s Executive Protection team with risk assessments, situational reports (“sitreps”), and similar intelligence products to identify and mitigate risks that could impact safety and security.
This role works quickly to interpret available data through the lenses of their experiences, professional training, and Walmart’s risk intelligence framework to deliver timely and relevant risk assessments. They perform proactive and post-event evaluation of geopolitical, criminal, and societal drivers of crisis events to inform our risk mitigation strategy.

What you'll do...
- Produce compelling written assessments and clear oral briefings: Generate clear, cohesive, and skillful deliverables including threat assessments, situation reports, and risk assessments in support of executive protection.
- Navigate and balance: Develop customer focused solutions that are tailored to different audiences and leadership levels.
- Adapt quickly and resourcefully: Manage competing demands and shifting priorities in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment; ability to respond to requests and disruptions that often occur outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends.
- Leverage tools & channels: Support programs and initiatives by utilizing your experience and knowledge of OSINT for threat monitoring.
- Build trusted relationships: Create and maintain new relationships and a collaborative environment which thrives on feedback, lessons learned, and exchanges of ideas and experiences, and which continuously seeks input from both internal and external sources.
- Operate with excellence: Set clear expectations and goals for requests and initiatives; anticipate and plan for ongoing improvement in performance, efficiency, and subject matter expertise.
What you’ll bring:
- You have previous experience with protective intelligence in the public or private sector.
- You have experience conducting research and gathering intelligence to identify threats related to client protection and event risk management.
- You have a track record of working well with cross-functional teams, as well as external partners such as local, state, or federal law enforcement.
- You understand complex risk assessment processes and best practices.
- You have experience using open-source data, particularly related to social media tools/software for threat monitoring.
- You have a professional understanding of risk detection and mitigation tactics.
- You are comfortable with critical decision making in uncertain situations.
- You have a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
