What you'll do...
Applied Business Acumen: Requires knowledge of: Industry and environmental factors (for example, market fluctuations, changes in regulatory policies or politics, emerging technology, cultural practices); Common business vernacular; Business practices across the industry and area-specific domains and related practices (for example, eCommerce, commerce platforms)Relevant ; business metrics, data models, analytics, and reports that assist in decision making. To provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues. Develops business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings. Translates business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks in alignment with the overall business strategy. Serves as an interpreter and conduit to connect business needs with tangible solutions and results. Recommends new processes and ways of working. Interprets business metrics and relevant data models and reports and utilizes appropriate data points to highlight and explain simple to moderately complex business issues to stakeholders and customers/sellers. Sales Scoping and Qualification: Requires knowledge of: Sales qualification evaluation tools, techniques, and approaches. To apply methods to scope customers/sellers in complex markets/industries. Oversees the scoping and qualification activities of team members to build a pipeline of prospects. Predicts the trends and directions of sales scoping and qualification based on past information and experience. Evaluates new industry opportunities to determine the scope of sales. Strategic Sales Planning and Forecasting: Requires knowledge of: Sales planning tools and techniques; Information sources; Estimation techniques and tools; Industry trends. To conduct strategic sales planning activities for limited product lines. Assists senior sales professionals with strategic sales planning in multiple scenarios. Assists in estimating sales trends in the market. Uses key factors, measurements, and variables used in forecasting to assist in creating sales forecasts. Participates in the preparation of short-term forecasts for a specific product. Locates useful information and sources of input used in weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts. Sales Proposals and Presentations: Requires knowledge of: Sales presentation tools and techniques; Sales lifecycles and related processes. To research the client base for a better understanding of customer/seller wants and needs. Assists in delivering sales proposals effectively to attract customers/sellers. Reviews proposals and presentations for ethical, technical, and legal accuracy. Assesses customer/seller feedback and prepares responses. Assists in designing organizational sales proposals under the guidance of others. Negotiation Excellence: Requires knowledge of: Negotiation techniques; Stakeholder management techniques; Communication best practices. To assess and lead fact-based decisions in high-risk situations and educate team members on negotiation strategies. Formulates and executes complex negotiation plans and addresses unanticipated issues. Identifies similarities and differences in positions and assesses the impacts on discussions. Disseminates verbal and written communications to counter other parties' positions and sets the foundational structures for desired outcomes. Protects company positions while demonstrating a willingness to achieve a win-win scenario. Detects and addresses negotiating stalemates. Details the risks of negotiation breakdowns from each party's perspective. Adheres to and coaches team members on company and regulatory retailer-supplier relationship processes, values, and policies. Product Expertise: Requires knowledge of: Suite of products, services, and solutions. offered by an assigned business area; Features of various products, services, and solutions and their value propositions; Product assortment management. To demonstrate understanding of product/solution features for simple to moderately complex areas of the business. Gains insight on customer/sellerspecific category/industry. Discusses and explains different product features to customers/sellers as appropriate to their needs. Articulates the value propositions of relevant features to customers/sellers. Provides demonstration of product features as required during the sales cycle. Works with stakeholders (for example, merchants) on product assortment mix and develops plans as needed. Financial Acumen: Requires knowledge of: Relevant financial and business management terminology, metrics, key performance indicators, and drivers of shareholder value; Industry-specific trends and best practices in finance; Financial challenges and issues due to environmental, industry, and economic factors and impacts on strategies, organizational plans, and stakeholders. To understand the drivers of the financial metrics that impact the business and how they can change business results. Performs analyses based on independent reasoning to draw appropriate conclusions. Analyzes business and financial data and supports the implementation and tracking of business plans that enable the attainment of financial goals. Understands the impacts of factors and trends that may affect financial performance. Communicates the results of analyses to diverse audiences. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
