In today's fast-paced world, the expectation for rapid delivery to customers' homes has revolutionized the way businesses operate , transforming convenience into a necessity. Walmart GoLocal is a newly launched business line at Walmart that offers Walmart's logistics solutions to retailers and brands of all sizes.

Our Strate gy & Planning team is at the core of how we operate , designing and executing our business strategy from top to bottom. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our team playing a crucial role in driving our strategic operating plan. How will you contribute to the success of our team?

  • Lead our strategic planning cycle, including annual and long-range planning, translating business strategy into a tactical operating plan.


  • Design operating mechanisms and leadership routines that ensure streamlined ways of working, effective communications, and execution across our strategic pillars.


  • Facilitate associate engagement and improve direction through monthly townhalls , our annual strategy offsite, and our People Initiatives workstream.


  • Connect dots across a wide portfolio of initiatives to ensure cohesive strategy execution.


  • Facilitate conversations and discussions with senior leaders and peers, surfacing the right information to solve complex problems.


  • Write and present complex ideas in a clear and compelling way using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.

What makes you a strong candidate?

  • Experienced Leader: Proven experience in a senior management role (direct reports not required ) and managing cross-functional stakeholders.


  • Strategic Development: Experience in developing strategies and connecting dots across multiple initiatives.


  • A Strong Story-Teller: Excellent at writing and presenting complex ideas clearly and compellingly, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools for processing and displaying information.


  • Analytical Skills: Comfort with data and strong analytical skills.


  • Culture Champion: Someone who cares deeply about their work environment and elevating the associate experience for their peers.


  • Operating models : Experience in designing and executing op mechanisms , OKRs, organizational goals, or similar.


  • Relevant Experience: Background in ecommerce, delivery, store operations, or supply chain is a plus.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.
