Position Summary...

We have rewarding opportunities for Last Mile Delivery (LMD) roles within our organization. LMD deals with the final step of the delivery process through its gig economy platform and plays crucial part of the supply chain that ensures efficient and effective delivery of products to customers. These roles are often viewed as complex roles that require skills such as precision, punctuality, and problem-solving skills, as it often involves navigating logistical challenges such as traffic, delivery location accessibility, and coordination. The role may also require interpersonal skills for customer interaction, and technological skills for using delivery software and devices. What you'll do...

Project Management and Execution

  • Directs Execution: Manages and modifies project plans, creates task timelines, and ensures successful rollouts.
  • Communication: Organizes and facilitates communication materials.
  • Performance Standards: Identifies, measures, and adjusts performance standards.
  • Budget Management: Manages budgets and approves expenditures as needed.
  • Contingency Planning: Develops solutions and contingency plans for escalated issues.

Decision Support and Data Analysis

  • Data Sourcing & Analysis: Sources, organizes, analyzes, and interprets data to provide business insights.
  • Trend Analysis: Conducts analyses to understand and communicate trends.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Translates data analysis into actionable business recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Works with cross-functional teams to develop processes and strategies.

Implementation of Business Solutions

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Builds relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Innovations: Develops new tools and innovations for business processes.
  • Process Improvement: Leverages best practices to streamline and improve processes.
  • Efficiency: Analyzes information to improve business efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Scorecards and Tracking: Develops and implements tracking mechanisms.

Revenue Generation and Cost Mitigation

  • Revenue Projects: Drives activities and projects that generate revenue and mitigate losses.
  • Budget Influence: Allocates or influences budget spending based on research and analysis.
  • Creative Solutions: Develops solutions to reduce costs and meet business goals.

Development and Improvement of Tools

  • Operational Tools: Manages the development and improvement of operational tools and reports.
  • Functional Requirements: Provides direction on project business and functional requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Develops solutions for complex problems.

Execution of Business Plans

  • Customer and Operational Needs: Identifies and addresses customer and operational needs.
  • Business Plans: Develops and communicates business plans and priorities.
  • Performance Standards: Measures progress and adjusts performance as needed.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrates adaptability and supports continuous learning.

Supervision and Development of Associates

  • Training and Mentoring: Selects, trains, mentors, and assigns duties to associates.
  • Team Building: Builds a team-based work environment.
  • Performance Evaluations: Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides feedback.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
