- Lead the global network automation and telemetry teams at Walmart
- Understand and explore our various networks - from stores to distribution and fulfillment centers, to campuses
- Work cross-functionally with the entire Platforms organization to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and execute on development efforts
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a high performing and collaborative team culture
- Do proof-of-concepts and provide strategic and technical recommendations
- Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, conducting research to identify emerging tools and methodologies
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders on specific product areas
- Collaborate with product and business leaders throughout the company to ensure that technology initiatives align with business needs
- Document architectural decisions, design patterns, policies, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing across the broader organization.

What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience leading network automation and/or telemetry initiatives in large networks
- Experience managing a multi-vendor network, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and SONiC
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Senior Architect or in a similar leadership role within a technology-driven organization and (5 years) experience as a people manager.
- Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or Google Cloud, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large-scale, complex architectural projects from conception to implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Proven ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

We use a hybrid way of working that is primarily virtual, while remaining near the locations Global Tech calls home. Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $208,000.00-$416,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
