About Team:
Everyone has data, but the sheer volume of data at Walmart can be limitless. In the Data Engineering team, we help Walmart manage this data by building pipelines and data lakes to prepare big data for analysis and unlocking actionable insights in real-time. We also use cross-departmental data and machine learning to build a holistic view of true profitability, saving millions of dollars across item categories and geographies while assisting our leadership in making better decisions faster.

What you'll do:

Analyze complex operational E2EF, LMD, Returns business processes

Identify data requirements.

Design, engineer, develop, test, validate, deploy to production, operate, support DS models to solve complex E2EF, LMD, Returns problems at Walmart scale.

Help business teams make decisions, answer questions, and solve problems more efficiently and effectively using data-driven, fact-based, and model-based approaches.

Deliver business value and economic impact in the form of cost avoidance.

Modeling expertise

Predictive Modeling using ML, Time Series, Ensemble Models

Prescriptive Modeling using LP, IP, NLP, QP

Element-based E2E Solution pipeline development

Excellent communication skills

Maturity (technical, business acumen) in solving problems at WMT scale; self-starter who can work independently and also guide, lead, mentor others

Sunnyvale, California US-04396:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09416:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00



















Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 3 - 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
