Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Creates interior CAD designs by understanding assigned area of responsibility; following design guidelines through creation and modification of designs; drawing rough and detailed scale plans for interior building arrangements that are based on preliminary concepts, design direction, business requirements, and sketches; operating computer-aided drafting software to produce designs, working drawings, forms, and records; delivering accurate designs in a timely manner; identifying issues with design direction and business requirements; providing design recommendations to solve issues and escalating issues as needed; submitting designs drafts for review; revising design drafts as needed; and maintaining and modifying existing designs as requested by key stakeholders (for example, Store Operations, Merchandising, Realty).

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Conducts quality assurance post audit reviews of interior designs by reviewing list of identified design errors; identifying root cause of design errors; reviewing designs with leadership as necessary to identify improvements for future designs to maximize space allocation; making necessary adjustments to correct errors or maximize space allocation; and making corrections to designs for future reference.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Collaborating with and providing design recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders (for example, Store Operations, Realty, Merchandising).

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Business, or related field OR 2 years' experience in retail management, project management, architecture, CAD design, or related field.
2 years' experience with Microsoft Office systems (for example, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Adobe systems (for example, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
