What you'll do...
The Walmart Dairy Plant in Fort Wayne, IN is one of the largest Milk Processing Plants in the United States. We provide our customers with the freshest, high-quality milk at everyday low prices for families. We are seeking to hire an experienced Process Safety Management Area Coordinator with industrial refrigeration and utilities experience to answer maintenance calls throughout the facility, troubleshoot and repair automated machines, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.
Job Duties:
- Responds to and completes work orders for plant utility system problems by maintaining equipment where repair requirements are not immediately visible or obvious.
- Provides on-call remote and on-site technical support for plant utility systems. Trains associates on the operation and repair of utility systems.
- Develops plans for the daily and weekly activities to ensure all necessary work is assigned with the proper level of skill and support for completion. Schedules service and maintenance for waste water systems, steam systems, compressed air systems, ammonia systems, and water systems.
- Creates plans to resolve audit findings.
- Updates, reviews, and documents the various different aspects of a Process Safety Management (PSM) program to maintain legal and regulatory compliance. Maintains documentation for Standard Operating Procedure reviews, Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence findings, Process Hazard Analysis findings, Lockout Tagout reviews, operator training, drawing reviews, valve cycling status, and other reviews required within the PSM program.
- Supports internal and external audits. Coordinates contractor activities related to utility systems.
- Leads the ongoing training of the PSM/utility technicians to keep certifications current. Provides performance and capability feedback on technicians to department leads.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $38.55-$40.55
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
