What you'll do...
Principal Product Manager, Personalization is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of our personalization roadmap to drive key metrics which ensure our customers and members see the most relevant and engaging content and nudges that drive customer growth. This role will be responsible for leveraging and developing cutting edge machine learning and AI models which use deep content and customer understanding to deliver delightful and contextual shopping experiences for our customers while collaborating cross functionally with Data Science, Engineering, Analytics and Business teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on customer personalization strategy and roadmap that aligns with our OKRs to drive customer business value and growth
- Drive a data-informed approach to personalization by working closely with data scientists and analytics to identify key metrics and build models that deliver personalized content and item recommendations across all touchpoints in the customer journey.
- Collaborate deeply with data science, engineering, business and marketing teams to define clear requirements for complex initiatives to ensure the seamless execution of customer focused initiatives that drive customer engagement and growth
- Continuously test and optimize recommendation models to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, using A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation techniques.
- Leverage data insights to inform product decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, analytics, and engineering, to develop product initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to senior stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, and ensure alignment on product priorities and goals.
- Create business cases and translate those into product roadmaps, machine learning models, engineering specifications, and underlying system dependencies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to personalization and item recommendations and ensure our product strategy remains competitive.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
