Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the tech organization. Included in this are data platforms, enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.

What you'll do:
- Lead and Design: Provide leadership in wireless network design, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Drive Efficiency: Analyze trends and identify opportunities to leverage automation for improved team performance.
- Innovate: Offer guidance on emerging wireless technologies to enhance Walmart’s network health and the customer/associate experience.
- Mentor and Train: Support fellow engineers through training, mentorship, and technical guidance.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate on strategic initiatives, identifying potential roadblocks and recommending alternative solutions.
- Vendor Collaboration: Partner with vendor teams to ensure accountability and the delivery of quality results.
- Problem-Solving: Work with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate: Translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and business stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
- Enterprise Networking: 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking with a focus on wireless technologies.
- Certifications:
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent wired networking certifications.
- CWNE
- CIoTP, IOTSF
- Wireless Technologies: Expertise in non-802.11 technologies (e.g., CBRS, LoRa, ZigBee, cellular).
- Design and Survey Tools: Proficiency with wireless design tools such as Ekahau or iBwave.
You'll Stand Out If You Have:
- Experience with Mist, Cisco, and/or Extreme.
- A track record of working in large, distributed enterprise environments.
- A passion for learning and using innovative technologies to solve complex business problems at scale.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to break down complex engineering challenges into real-world business solutions.
- The ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Reston, Virginia US-07759:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
