Manager, Operations - Sales Strategy & Operations (Local Marketplace)
Locations: NYC Preferred, Hoboken, San Bruno, Bentonville

We'd love to put your problem-solving skills and process savviness to work, helping to drive and define the future of our sales operations and seller acquisition strategy as we launch the new Walmart Local Marketplace experience.
As our Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations, your work will power our sales team and help to establish foundational processes to drive our sales strategy, operations, and analytics.
You will support key strategic workstreams such as deciding how we build our seller base across segments and prioritize sellers across categories, as well as helping to drive core operational process like enhanced sales tracking and reporting, sales analytics, and more.

Your work will support establishing a foundational sales strategy and operational model to set our sales team up for success, ensuring we're set up to acquire the right sellers and operating within a framework that will set our team and business up for long-term success.
Preferred Qualifications:
You have 4-7+ years of related experience in sales operations, business operations, consulting, revenue operations, and / or strategy and operations roles within high-growth startups / marketplace businesses
- You have a strong background in strategic planning, analytical decision-making, and process-building, and are comfortable operating in nascent / ambiguous business environments
- You excel in building and managing cross-functional partnerships and are comfortable leading initiatives across various functions and stakeholders; you have a demonstrated track record of driving initiatives across diverse internal / external teams
- You are a strategic thinker, and your analytical skills enable you to derive actionable insights and drive business outcomes; the ideal candidate has experience in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and / or Looker
- You are a strategic problem solver and self-starter, adept at breaking down complex issues, formulating clear recommendations, and driving outcomes independently
- You are a builder with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for process building and optimization within startups teams and environments
- You are familiar and interested in the ecommerce landscape and last-mile delivery space, excited to be a leader in the retail tech industry
You'll make an impact by:
- Developing and driving an analytics framework to power our sales strategy: taking our existing data, tooling, and analysis frameworks to the next level to refine the way we leverage data throughout the sales process, from lead identification to closing sales and beyond; leverage insights to drive impactful changes to our processes and strategy at large
- Implementing and optimizing a strategic framework to drive seller acquisition and strategy: identify a process for identifying the best sellers within a market and work alongside our sales, onboarding, and seller success to teams to drive a tactical plan to acquire / retain those sellers and maximize their success on the platform
- Building and implementing tooling and process to power the sales process and beyond: work across the seller strategy, sales, onboarding, and seller growth teams to build a deploy best in class process and tooling to maximize our collective success and drive efficiencies in the way we work.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. New York, New York US-09317/Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-10883:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
