Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Manager to join the Driver Research & Insights Team for Spark Driver. This individual will lead research initiatives using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The ideal candidate will excel in project management, stakeholder engagement, and analysis, with a strong ability to generate actionable insights. In this role you will be part of a quickly growing part of the business and will help enable expansion and decision making through your research.

• Execute and manage end-to-end mixed methods research projects about the gig delivery space including study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive research initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Conduct thorough analysis of research findings and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure research aligns with business needs
• Leverage primary research and internal data to uncover strategic insights that help shape business strategies and plans.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging methodologies in market research, gig economy, and gig delivery driving

• You bring with you experience in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
• You have experience with Innovation and/or Design Thinking research
• You have experience in the gig industry, online delivery, or marketplace economy or voice of the driver/customer or loyalty research
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup like environment with day-to-day ambiguity
• You're structured in your thought process and have strong problem-solving skills
• You can tell a compelling story with data to convince stakeholders of a decision
• You are a strategic thinker, capable of bridging business needs with research insights
• You are comfortable influencing others, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in consumer insights, market research, strategy, analytics, and/or brand management
• Ability to translate business needs into appropriate research methods
• Strong analytical skills to assess, research, interpret and analyze data
• An understanding of standard customer experience metrics (NPS, CSAT, etc.) and translating feedback data into measurable action
• Experience running qualitative research (IDI's, focus groups, diaries, shadows, etc.) and quantitative research (designing/programming/analyzing surveys)
• Experience with research tools such as Qualtrics, Medallia, Alchemer, SPSS, or similar platforms for programming and analyzing mixed-method studies
• The ability to build partnerships, communicate, and collaborate effectively within an organization and work in a team setting
• Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to independently translate and communicate data and findings into actionable business insights and recommendations
• Experience managing research vendor relationships/projects while also doing DIY research projects both in the field and remote
• Demonstrated end-to-end project management skills
• Experience collaborating and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
