What you'll do...
At Walmart, we are seeking a talented Lead Specialist, Building Controls to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring optimal building performance and controls across our retail locations. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying customer needs, coordinating work assignments, and providing proactive solutions to complex problems.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience with monitoring performance of building controls such as HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Participate in cross-functional teams, sharing resources, information, and tools to drive building performance and controls
- Conduct diagnostic techniques and implement advanced programming methods to ensure customer and associate safety while minimizing service costs
- Perform specialized programming projects, adapting building controls strategies, and responding to trends, alarms, and manufacturer recalls
- Collaborate with managers, colleagues, customers, and business partners to complete work assignments and priorities effectively

Education:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required for this position.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in building controls for HVAC and refrigerati or related areas are highly desirable
- Continuous professional development and up-to-date expertise in the field are essential

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
