Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurate. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.

We are hiring for a Full-time 1st shift Supervisor II, Facilities Maintenance in our Central Fill in Frederick, MD. This is a salaried manager role, while the goal is to work within the designated shift hours, there will be times when hours may adjust to meet business needs.

An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in a Walmart maintenance technician position OR 1 years' experience in industrial maintenance, primarily electronics, including six months leading a work or project team.
  • 2 years' experience performing industrial warehouse or manufacturing maintenance activities (for example, preventative maintenance, material handling equipment, power equipment, facilities upkeep).

Good to have:

  • Industrial Maintenance Certification.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.

Job description:

  • Electrical Systems and Controls: Possess Knowledge of: Wiring schematics; electrical inspection procedures; electrician tools; safety codes and regulations. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Demonstrates expertise in wiring schematics to drive innovation in electrical systems and compliance; adheres to electrical safety practices to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements; works with various I/O devices in order to control conveyor logic (for example, gapping, sorting, diverting); inspects critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs; installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring and lighting; maintains and repairs electrical heating and ventilation equipment; troubleshoots control circuits; oversees and carries out all activities and tasks associated with electrician services; ensures compliance with applicable safety codes.


  • Custodial Activities: Possess knowledge of: Operational requirements of floor-cleaning equipment; tools, machines, and company-approved chemicals used to perform routine cleaning procedures. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Coaches others on advanced custodial methods and techniques to deliver custodial services in a cost-effective manner; oversees custodial quality and investigates reports of substandard quality; assesses inventory levels and functioning of all custodial machinery, equipment, and materials; coordinates corresponding purchases or maintenance; Evaluates and optimizes cleaning and sterilization procedures to improve custodial performance; mitigates identified cleanliness issues and implements corrective action; monitors all custodial activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agency codes.


  • Task Delegation: Possess knowledge of: Task delegation techniques; progress monitoring tools and processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Communicates the definitions and impacts of a successful completion of delegated tasks; works with associates in the development of plans and objectives for delegated tasks; under guidance, delegates simple tasks to individual associates according to their readiness; monitors progress and provides feedback, support, and course correction as necessary.


  • Schematics and Technical Drawings: Possess Knowledge of: common drafting tools, procedures, and processes; blueprints; technical drawing specifications. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Prepares sketches and blueprints for wiring and equipment; performs routine changes to computerized schematics or drawings; defines sub-systems or components; prepares design documents and blueprints; coaches others on the interpretations of blueprints, including 2D and 3D design drawings, detailed design drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials; reviews drawings and specifications to ensure that detailed requirements are addressed.


  • Vendor Management: Possess Knowledge of: Vendor policies; vendor request processes; vendor quality standards. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Acts as the routine contact point between the organization and vendors; resolves routine supplier issues; escalates nonroutine issues up the chain of command; researches alternative vendors or suppliers; provides feedback on supplier options and selection; follows company procedures in carrying out routine supplier management tasks; works with vendors to ensure that purchases meet delivery dates and quality specifications.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$100,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
