Walmart Global Tech is looking to hire a Distinguished TPM where you will be the owner and driver of several complex programs, forming a portfolio of efforts to meet the business goals that support the strategic vision of Walmart's People Technology organization.

What you'll do:

  • Create the program structure and shared alignment with the program team across Walmart on vision, strategy, business goals and requirements, and secure cross-functional teams dependency commitment
  • Lead executive committee meetings with executive level stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues
  • Provide ongoing visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) to all stakeholders
  • Anticipate and aggressively remove risks that slow down or prevent program teams from delivering on program outcomes throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multiple technology teams to ensure APIs and system interfaces are designed to meet the long-term program goals.
  • Create a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, speed, innovation, and learning.
  • Proactively improve our ways of working to increase value delivery and execution rigor

What you'll bring:

  • Have an ownership mindset that focuses on putting the customer first
  • 12+ years of Program Management experience with software programs in related industry
  • Proven track record of hands-on driving of large, mission-critical, cross-functional programs
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior technical program managers
  • Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms and are equally adept in communicating upwards to the executive level, outwards, and downward
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues
  • 7+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban etc.)
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity to drive clarity and a knack for seeing and mitigating risks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and passion for data-driven decision-making
  • Engineering management and/or technical product management a plus
  • Experience in platform environment a plus

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Certification in Project Management., Master's degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 5 years' experience in product design., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
