What you'll do...

Director, Technology Operations

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sam's Club Product Ops organization where you will be tasked with leading the enablement of our product strategy. The candidate will own a broad range of exciting projects that will require both strategic influence and thoughtful execution. In addition to being a key member of our Product Ops Leadership team you will work closely with the Chief Product Officer to ensure the Product Team continues to be at the front of solving meaningful problems and delivering impactful outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Financial management and budgeting to create, manage, monitor program budget, Annual Operating Plan, delivery schedules, cost expenditures, and to project the ROI of future programs.
  • Define an integrated plan for implementation of a largescale organizational program and drive organizational success across business units and functions.
  • Influence and build stakeholder consensus to connect seemingly unconnected parties and to convey complex information and address ambiguity for robust technology development.
  • Use technology strategy and trends to develop, evaluate, and implement proposed scenarios for projects, initiatives, and stakeholder decision making.
  • Design multiple response plans through scenario planning for the identified risks for multiple projects within the program.
  • Track progress of the program and develop forecasts to overcome anticipated risks and guide implementation and use of program management tools.
  • Assess KPIs and design the organization's planning processes and decision- making channels

The Sam's Club Product Ops team consists of associates with program management, data science, operations, and technical backgrounds; all driven by the same mindset of enablement to our product org. Together, we innovate and drive the future of product management by anticipating the needs of our product org - often even before they know what they want themselves. We are a nimble group with an assorted background yet guided by the same north star, to propel our Product Managers forward so that they deliver delightful experiences for members and associates.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business,information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 6 years' experience inproject management, program management, program operations, or related area.Option 2: 8 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
3 years' supervisory experience.

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
