About the Team
As a part of Walmart Connect, you'll build industry defining omni-channel ad experiences at scale that enhances the shopping experience for Walmart shoppers with better product discovery while also allowing suppliers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high performing campaigns.

We're looking for a Director, Product Management (US), Ad Experiences to innovate and deliver highly engaging Advertising Experiences across the shopper journey. We work back from advertising experiences that drives discovery and empowers our advertisers to reach and activate their customers with ad experiences in multiple new and innovate formats. This role will lead the efforts in improving the Shopping experience with relevant, engaging ads. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining the end to end experience with a platform-mindset, working closely with platform and engineering teams on all aspects of ad management, targeting, delivery and reporting to support the needs of the world's largest brands by helping shoppers discover, research and buy from leading brands across Walmart properties.

You'll make an impact by:
- Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, and building business cases.
- Developing and enhancing products - you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
- Driving product lifecycle from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts.
- Working with data science, engineering, and Walmart partners to define the data requirements, measurement methodologies, APIs and UX for reporting dashboards.
- Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry to identify new opportunities. Conduct customer research to define customer segments and identify needs to inform product roadmap.
- Partnering with internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling experiences that benefit shoppers and our advertising clients.
- Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.
- Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
- Hiring, building and leading an effective team by hiring and leading a team of Product Managers and Group Product Managers to drive strategic planning, roadmaps, PM best practices, mentor PMs, drive Cross-Functional alignment, and resolve large scale conflicts.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, publisher and consumer experiences. Experience in building eCommerce and retail media is a plus.
- People management experience
- Bachelor's degree required/MBA a huge plus!
- Product, operations, business or engineering background is preferred
- Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize
- Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally
- Passionate about advertising and have experience creating compelling solutions that work both for end-users and advertisers.
- Passionate about generating big, creative ideas for online media, growing the business and working with advertisers and agencies to build innovative products.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00-$338,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
