What you'll do...
Develops and implements processes, technologies, and material handling equipment improvement strategies across domestic networks by receiving approval for capital project and process improvement plans and strategies to reduce costs, enhance store service, improve safety, and improve engineering quality; working with senior leadership teams of operations and material handling suppliers to approve new engineering applications; presenting project concepts and designs to senior and executive leadership teams for approval; communicating new distribution center concepts and improving existing operations; setting or applying best practices; managing suppliers and contractors to ensure programs are delivered on-time and within approved budgets; and supporting the team in measuring, tracking, and publishing systems and operational performance.

Collaborates with senior and executive leadership to develop sustainable supply chain strategies by providing guidance on supply chain gaps and areas of opportunity; acting as a subject matter expert, advising leadership on industry best practices; recommending initiatives with the greatest return on investment potential; and leading major projects and overseeing project teams to drive initiatives from concept through implementation.
Manages initiatives to reduce operating expenses within the supply chain and enhance services by overseeing multiple projects from concept to implementation; developing operating and capital budgets and recommending them for approval; reviewing and approving project plans; and collaborating with key business partners to ensure sustainable process changes that support business initiatives.
Directs the analysis and design of new distributions centers and processes by ensuring the application of industry technologies, equipment, and material handling solutions; partnering with key vendors to benchmark industry best practices; collaborating with key internal teams to gain project support and operational insight; reviewing and confirming financial analyses and justifications; and presenting project ideas and designs to divisional senior leadership for approval.
Directs the identification and implementation of initiatives to reduce operating expenses within the supply chain by applying traditional industrial engineering techniques; collaborating with key cross functional teams to align resources and identify priorities; partnering with key material handling providers to identify and implement appropriate technologies; and reviewing presentation material for project ideas and designs prior to senior leadership approval.
Provides guidance and drives execution of logistics engineering projects by reviewing and approving project implementation plans, timelines, budgets, and operational plans for multiple site projects; reviewing project performance to ensure projects are meeting financial goals; and visiting multiple locations to ensure projects are progressing according to plan and operational needs are being met while minimizing operational impact.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
