Success in this Role

The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. Regular collaboration with executives and various business units across Vorto will allow you the opportunity to exhibit your verbal and written communication skills. A typical day in this role, provides an opportunity to improve and identify high priority work/projects to maximize results for key stakeholders, and solve complex problems affecting companywide strategic decision-making

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes with precision and insight that challenge the status quo. You'll own the numbers, providing the foresight to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Advanced Reporting: Deliver high-impact financial reports, KPI dashboards, and presentations that provide actionable intelligence for senior leadership. Expect to be in the room when pivotal decisions are made.
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Dive deep into data to uncover trends and anomalies. Your insights won't just be recommendations-they'll be directives that shape our company's future.
  • Cross-Functional Partnering: Be the financial backbone of cross-departmental projects, influencing teams across the organization to align with financial strategies. Your voice will be heard at every level.
  • Process Transformation: Don't just find inefficiencies-obliterate them. Lead initiatives to streamline and automate financial processes for maximum impact.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis with Impact: Whether it's analyzing M&A opportunities or dissecting market trends, your analysis will push boundaries and drive real change.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are a major advantage.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in high-stakes financial analysis, investment banking, or consulting. If you've been operating in the top tier of a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a must.
  • Analytical Genius: Extraordinary quantitative skills and the ability to translate data into strategic insights. You see patterns where others see noise.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to distill complex financial information into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences. Your storytelling ability is as important as your number-crunching skills.
