What You Will Do

  • Manage and build strong technical team to achieve business goals.
  • Review product requirements and making suggestions.
  • Involve in architecture and design for new products, prototyping, understanding and improving existing software.
  • Develop and implement engineering plan and schedule, allocating resources and deliver as per the plan.
  • Oversee the systems, processes, ensuring compliance with industry standard.
  • Keep updated with new technologies, provide technical leadership and guide the team.
  • Build relationship with vendors and partners.

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in managing engineering team, architecture & design, planning and release management for consumer electronic devices or embedded devices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and drive parallel projects with tight deadlines.
  • Very good experience in C, C++11, Rust is a plus.
  • Experience in HAL layer design, notification system, IPC, multi-processing, multi-threading, debugging/core dump analysis
  • Experience in Shell-Script, Makefile, Python, git, JIRA.
  • Good communication, problem solving skills, Self motivated, Proactive and good team player.
  • Preferred to have specialization in one of the areas: (Optional)
    • DRM (Widevine, PlayReady).
    • toolchain/makefile/cmake/build environment set-ups, dockers containerization, snapcraft.
      OpenGL/openGL ES applications, windowing systems, directFB, OSD, GPU/GE drivers, Graphics pipeline.
    • Video player develop and/or audio-video pipeline design/development
