Job Description

Visa Direct is looking for driven students to join and support the Product team on strategic money movement initiative. Visa Direct is an exciting payment solution that Visa provides to clients to facilitate a fast & frictionless money movement around the world.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual with previous business experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the product team in strategic initiatives and projects related to our Visa Direct expansion, and other initiatives and projects within the Product team.
  • Support Visa's internal and client-facing teams by helping to develop reporting, sales materials, toolkits, and training materials, facilitate the organization of materials for easy access.
  • Support technical solutioning, client engagements and project management
  • Client interaction with corporate/treasury banks, Card Issuers, Acquirers, Processors and PSPs
  • Develop deep understanding of the Visa Direct use cases and conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics to map individual use case verticals and the opportunities they represent.
  • Collaborate with the Visa Direct Market Delivery teams on the development and commercialization of new and enhanced Visa Direct payment use cases.
  • Manage moderately complex assignments that are diverse in scope and search out appropriate courses of action.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Students pursuing an MBA Degree with a graduation date in December 2025 or later
  • Strong communications skills, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Solid understanding of Money Movement solutions with an in-depth knowledge of Use cases and value-added services
  • Self-motivated, results driven, with the ability to quickly establish clear, well thought out action plans
  • Strong clear and concise written and spoken communications and the ability to demonstrate professional judgment
  • Drive deliverables to completion under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into key strategic insights
  • Ability to form hypotheses on client issue root causes and validate thinking quickly using data
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a cross functional team
  • Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Information

Internship Duration: 12 weeks starting May 2025

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization to work in the Canada is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. 

This is a Hybrid Position: Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 0% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
