Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Technical Program Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to
- Lead and manage complex technology projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including project milestones, timeline, and budget. Coordinate resources and personnel needed to successfully complete projects.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
- Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards.
- Conduct risk management tasks, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Ensure project aligns with the technology and business strategies of the organization.
- Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related program analyst, project analyst or program manager occupation. PMI PMP certification required.
- Position requires experience in the following:
- Software development using Java and Container technologies;
- Relational Databases, such as MySQL, Oracle, NoSQL or Mongo DB;
- Cloud computing;
- Cybersecurity;
- Network architecture;
- Project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall;
- Planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control;
- Negotiating resource allocation, timelines, and scope with stakeholders; and
- Agile methodologies and tools.
Additional Information
Worksite: Foster City, CA
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $132,288.00 USD to $182,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
