Job Description

Visa Corporate IT has embarked on a major transformation journey. We are transforming ourselves into a true engineering organization where we put customer experience and end user support first. As part of this strategy, we are consolidating several of our operational functions into a single area focused on providing world class operational support to our end users. This change is geared towards rethinking how we provide engineering support for the services we're responsible for. As a member of the End User Technology team, this position is responsible for providing our end users best possible solution in Office 365 and Azure technologies. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic and evolving global team that is driving the charge to ensure that Visa is not only the best way to pay but also the best place to work with state-of-the-art end user technology and solutions.

Scope:

As a member of Corporate Cloud Engineering this role will provide 3rd level Corporate IT Engineering.  The successful candidate will be based in Bogota and will be a key contributor delivering outstanding customer experience with VDI systems, Office 365 and Azure technologies to ensure that the end user experience is exceptional. The candidate will work with an existing team to help build out train our 2nd level Operations team for support and maintenance and be available for any escalations.  The individual must possess understanding of Virtual Desktop Application (VDI) solutions, Microsoft O365 and cloud computing with focus on Windows clients and servers, Virtual Machines, Intune, AD FS, AD Connect, SSO, Federation and MCAS configuration capabilities.

 

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provide oversight, coordination, and delivery of the VDI system solutions
  • Create procedures and policies around VDI system solutions
  • Perform Engineering escalation support for Office 365 which includes Azure, Conditional Access, Intune and AAD
  • Managing O365, Hybrid deployment and Security Policies
  • Work with the Information Security Office to ensure solutions deployed meet Visa Security Requirements, provide technical assistance for investigation and analysis of security alerts, and maintain system security.
  • Provide technical support to Operations, Engineering team members and end users to ensure problem resolution is achieved in the shortest possible timeframe.
  • Communicate and liaise with all other departments, notify appropriate parties immediately of any issues which may affect efficient operations, including but not limited to outages, service disruptions, and repeated customer complaints
  • Interface with customers to gather appropriate details or communications designs
  • Assist internal customers in a professional and service driven manner i.e., during M&A activity, new deployments, or service-related configurations
  • Assist other members of team to complete assignments to meet goals, deadlines, and objectives
  • Develop and document policies, procedures, and associated training plans for systems administration and operations teams.
  • Manage security assessments and vulnerability management

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years IT experience in Virtual Desktop Application (VDI) solutions, Office 365, Azure and Client Engineering with equivalent professionally qualified education and experience such as Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technology field. Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Citrix VDI environments
  • Strong understanding of Network, Load Balancer, Firewall, ADFS, WAP
  • Familiarity with SSO technologies and principles
  • Enabling 3rd party integrations within Office 365
  • Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex Office 365 and Windows Hybrid Domain Join environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and analytics tools
  • Strong technical competencies in Windows Hybrid and SCCM infrastructure
  • Strong leadership skills along with effective oral/written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, Load Balancer, Firewalls and troubleshooting issues
  • Ability to Multi-task and be self-motivated
  • An enthusiastic positive attitude towards working in a team environment
  • Proven engineering, documentation and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
  • Staying calm under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among multiple concurrent projects while also handling interruptions.
