Job Description
Visa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Consultant to join our team. This position will play a critical role in coordinating Visa market teams in alignment with the Global Account Lead to drive business development and partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will engage with experts in identified verticals, ensure alignment with client focus segments, and coordinate digital sales efforts to drive leads and campaigns.

Key responsibilities include coordinating market teams, engaging vertical experts, maintaining a regional view of account development, and identifying client investment areas aligned with our thought leadership approach. The role also involves ensuring relevant and aligned content for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), supporting data analysis, managing pipelines and opportunities, and creating presentations to illustrate data analysis to clients and management.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Manage and maintain accurate data related but not limited to pipeline/opportunities, stakeholder mapping, track account and related AANR, and align KPIs with functions.
• Summarize deal performance, validate volume with clients, and process/track payouts.
• Extract data and generate reports from dashboards for clients and internal consumption at QBRs.
• Prepare, organize, and create content for client meetings, external events, thought leadership, and internal stakeholder meetings.
• Track volumes, key revenue drivers, analyze trends, and derive insights for management review.
• Identify and map potential investment areas to archetype markets.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and analysis.
• Track relevant market trends in payments and technology, regulations (and their impacts), and support the Global Account Lead in identifying meaningful use-cases for client sell-in and driving growth.
• Ensure all existing contracts and deals are thoroughly tracked from a contractual obligation and performance benchmark perspective, identifying gaps for prompt management action to address any business or internal audit issues.
• Support the Global Account Lead in coordinating with other relevant Visa market teams to drive business development and partnership initiatives.
• Build a knowledge pool/playbook on managing identified verticals/segments that can be leveraged by account teams Visa-wide.
• Analyse data insights to identify new business opportunities and cultivate research into consumable strategy outputs
• Create presentations to illustrate data analysis to clients or management.
• Maintain a regional view and update content as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or strategic analysis, preferably within the payments or technology industry.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent data analytics skills, including proficiency with data extraction, analysis, and reporting tools.
• Ability to structure and analyse financial and operational data
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro programming.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL for efficient data management and extraction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to create compelling presentations to illustrate data analysis to clients or management, with excellent presentation skills, strong oral and writing capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
