Job Description

The Visa Commercial Solutions B2B Acceptance team has the responsibility for defining and executing the global B2B product vision for Visa's commercial merchant solutions.  With untapped card-able spend commercial spend, Visa is positioning itself to capture more than its fair share of this opportunity by supporting programs that allow our Commercial Card members to use their Visa Commercial Cards to purchase despite challenges to acceptance. By driving flexibility into the dynamics of Card payments, we can maximize value to our buyers and suppliers.

Within the B2B Acceptance team, we develop products and services that meet the needs of our customers, both on the bank/corporate side and the merchant side. We play a crucial role in ensuring mutual value and benefit in Visa cards, both as the best way to pay, and be paid. Our team works globally to manage relationships with our bank/FI, corporate, merchant, acquirer and fin tech partners. We work across the entire Visa ecosystem to ensure that our products and services for B2B payments meet client needs, globally.

Essential Functions:

  • The Senior Manager – B2B Acceptance Strategic Planning will support the growth of our B2B Acceptance team’s global engagements and help drive successful strategies.
  • The role will require excellent communication to support the team globally, driving the coordination of projects, and facilitation of internal communications, managing performance.
  • This role is an exciting opportunity to develop a strategic approach to encourage adoption of commercial cards around the world, and grow Visa’s presence in the B2B payments ecosystem.
  • The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual seeking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.
  • This role will report to the Global Head of B2B Acceptance in New York and work across teams and key stakeholders and managing key business wide initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Knowledge of business to business (B2B) payments, with an understanding of Commercial Card value proposition and buyer/supplier dynamics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ideal for consultants with a 2-3 yrs of experience in financial services looking to transition to the industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 207,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
