The Senior Manager, Portfolio Operations will partner closely with product teams to manage change management and program management across VAS priorities.  The successful candidate will have over a decade of experience leading change and projects across product management, delivery, and operations functions in a consulting firm or equivalent.  He or she will have strong consensus building skills and will be comfortable providing guidance and guardrails to a large and disparate team of product managers and supporting professionals.  This role sits at the intersection of several different teams, and enables connections with technology, sales, marketing, and support organizations.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product lifecycle practices and operations, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Lead strategic and operational projects related to product lifecycle transformation that drive commercial outcomes
  • Program Management of VAS wide initiatives, when required
  • Develop and implement the Portfolio Operations transformation strategy and roadmap
  • Drive change management and adoption efforts for transforming product lifecycle practices and operations, ensuring these initiatives are effectively communicated and embraced across the organization
  • Lead the development of competency framework and corresponding training and accreditation pathways for the product management teams
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across all business units, regions and cross-functional stakeholders, providing expert guidance on change management and adoption strategies to ensure successful sponsorship and leadership of transformation initiatives
  • Partner on the design and delivery of PLM training programs, integrating the needs of different business units, regions, and career stages
  • Co-define robust onboarding and certification programs for new product managers
  • Facilitate mentorship programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and PLM community events to support ongoing learning and development
  • Partner with the People team to develop career frameworks and growth paths for product managers
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to effectively convey transformation goals, progress, and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders
  • Establish and monitor metrics to measure the success and impact of change management initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed
  • Support leadership reporting on transformation effectiveness and improvement initiatives.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Background in consulting, organizational transformation, and product-oriented change management.
  • Proven experience in organizational transformation focusing on change management and strategic planning.
  • Excellent influence skills, including integrity, credibility, empathy, and collaboration.
  • Strong program management skills to coordinate and lead complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work.
  • Self-motivated, humble, and curious learner with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage expectations and deliver results in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in the payments industry is a plus.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 142,200 to 192,350 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
