Job Description
This Senior role involves actively handling the relationship with one of the largest German banking groups to market, sell and implement the full range of Visa products and services, managing client projects throughout the Visa organisation building strong partnerships with our Bank and providing customized solutions to jointly meet business objectives together.

What we expect of you, day to day:
- Define sound strategy for the Bank to drive joint success, develop clear propositions for the full range of Visa products and services. Create concrete Account Plan to prioritise and deliver.
- Use a collaborative approach to understand our clients' needs and business impact and to recommend services and solutions to grow the business together.
- Build and oversee relationships across the entire client organisation, including senior management, service providers. Identify key stakeholders and stay close to identify opportunities and challenges early on.
- Contribute to the annual business and account plans for your Bank to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Collaborate and engage with colleagues across Visa (Sales, Product-Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Consultants, etc.) to deliver solutions as one team and to develop client business proactively.
- Negotiate, implement, and lead customer contract processes.
- Show and improve excellent knowledge of the payment technology space, and especially of Visa products and services.
- Drive business, engage with the clients, work closely with peers and colleagues, deliver and celebrate successes with verve, energy and a sense of fun!
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
What we’re after…
• Previous experience, passion, curiosity, and knowledge of retail banking and/or
payment industry
• Strong credentials within a client facing role, along with a consistent record of
achieving commercial targets
• Sales / Business Development / Relationship Management experience, with a
strong background of forming relationships with clients and rapidly growing
existing partnerships
• Commercial understanding and the ability to spot opportunities and
proactively propose solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with colleagues and
persuade external stakeholders and decision makers at all levels of the
business
• Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent ability to understand and communicate complex business
information
• High levels of integrity and business ethics
• Fluent in German and English, both verbal and written. University Master´s
degree or similar qualification or equivalent practical experience
