This is a unique opportunity that calls for a motivated, hard-working, and highly analytical Finance professional to join the Digital Partnerships Finance team. The Digital Partnerships Finance team serves as a strategic business partner for business leaders in Global & NA Digital Partnerships, providing essential finance support. The candidate will be a key member of the highly visible Digital Partnerships Finance team and collaborate across a matrixed organization focusing on business performance reporting, maintaining database drivers, support process improvement, and maintaining financial models. Prior strategic finance or banking experience highly valued.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead in the maintenance of a large and complex dataset of drivers and revenue for hundreds of Digital Partners
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a broad base of stakeholders (i.e. Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.)
  • Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
  • Support the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis to deliver ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/annual reports of Partner trends
  • Evaluate existing financial models and seek opportunities to introduce new tools and identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies (i.e. Self-serve dashboards)
  • Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of the business.
  • Is team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
  • Thrives on an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented

This is a hybrid position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in Finance are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week in Foster City, CA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field 
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, experience with complex financial or data systems such as Hyperion, Tableau, or SQL is a plus
  • Foundational understanding of multi-party payment model (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in modeling techniques, managing large datasets, and business performance measurement/reporting
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes via automation and end-to-end efficiencies
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management and produce time sensitive deliverables
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
  • Be eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
