Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants.  Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

 

Within VCA we have a dedicated service line, Visa Managed Services (VMS) with specialized experts who are routinely embedded into clients to offer hands on execution support. From our collective experience we have amassed an extensive set of best practices we leverage to help partners manage customer relationships, portfolio levers and product development.

What a Senior Client Consulting Manager does at Visa:

The Senior Client Consulting manager will be responsible for leading client engagements. Typically, this will involve the senior consulting manager interacting with the client team and internal staff, and managing project inputs, analyzing data to form conclusions and recommendations, developing and presenting compelling project reports and working with clients on executing recommendations.

 

Managed Services – Client Program Delivery:

  • Lead and facilitate cross border marketing related discussion with the client to identify potential opportunities, scope projects, pitch proposals and deliver end to end cross border marketing activities to grow the client's portfolio
  • Provide professional consultancy to clients covering both strategic and tactical aspects based on data and insights
  • Design and deliver compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas, recommendations within consulting engagements and more broadly, at times physically support implementation at the client site
  • Collaborate with data science team to utilize our advanced data analytics capabilities
  • Work closely across multiple team functions including wider VCA, Product, Sales, Regional and Marketing team to acquire specific subject matter expertise as needed
  • Manage budget and forecasts in collaboration with the client and third-party suppliers
  • Develop and share marketing best practices to guide and inspire clients and the wider Visa organization
  • Ability to playback results and success of program to clients, leading to renewed contracts and program extensions

 

On a project-by-project basis:

  • Develop fact base by undertaking client interviewing, collecting and analysing inputs such as client data, process flows, policies, competitive, industry and environmental information
  • Manage execution of one or more project engagements, building client relationships, utilizing governance frameworks and mitigating / resolving complex problems that emerge
  • Identify solutions and recommendations that address client objectives and result in performance improvement, leverage relevant VCA methodologies, frameworks and global best practices
  • Design and deliver compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas, recommendations within consulting engagements and more broadly, at times physically support implementation at the client site

This role will support key clients across Korea. The role will help to scale our Managed Services capabilities which will support Visa’s ambition of diversifying our revenue. 

Qualifications

What you will need:

Having already accumulated a variety of experience, you will be curious about the payments industry and keen to work alongside an experienced team in gaining a deeper understanding. You will be client driven, comfortable managing a project end to end and relishing the opportunity to work closely with clients to influence their future performance.

Specific skills and experience you will bring are:

- Min. 8 years of career experience in financial services and payment, or in issuers. Management consulting experience is a plus
- Project management skills and ability to handle multiple initiative simultaneously often within target timeline
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
- Basic budget management and reporting
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
- Excellent detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis
- Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities
- Business level English proficiency

What will also help:
- Experience in operating and managing the PDCA cycle for various marketing strategies

- Experience in marketing execution project engagements in financial services and payment, or in issuers
- Good understanding of Visa and the payments eco-system
