Job Description

The Brazil Consulting Practice within Visa (VCA – Visa Consulting and Analytics) provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest issuers, merchants and acquirers in Brazil.

The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience and operational efficiency.

The VCA team is looking for a Senior Manager to join our consulting practice in Brazil. The potential candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of projects and solutions with Brazil Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead the gathering and analysis of information, support the formulation and testing of hypotheses to address client business problems.

  • Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments.

  • Successfully collaborate with peers in other functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, innovation) to execute projects and deliver value for clients.

  • Develop a sustainable relationship with Clients (Brazil Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks) with an ethical, empathetic approach and with the purpose of delivering the best support for our clients.

  • Help scale the function by shaping frameworks, methodologies, processes and required operational enablers to drive business growth and efficiencies on behalf of our partners.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the covered markets as needed and the ability to work across functions and markets.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Please note that this position does not have any direct reports.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with at least 5 years of work experience in consulting, corporate strategy or product management
• Logical, structured thinking, and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience in coaching and managing multiple consulting engagements that involve structured problem solving and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
• Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese (Brazil)
• Experience in banking or credit card sector will be considered a plus
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
