- Responsible for business planning and operations for the Global Merchant Sales and Acquiring (GMS&A) organization.
- Support the implementation of strategic programs, reporting, data/analytics, planning and knowledge management/competitive intelligence.
- Business Operations-
- Focus on operations and ensuring that the MS&A sales organization is effective in providing client value and promoting adoption of Visa products and solutions.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc executive reporting (e.g. Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, CEO Day, All Hands, client feedback/concerns).
- Support internal organization initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Provide regular visibility on progress, action items, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
- Serve as a thought partner and sounding board to help communicate and track organizational strategy and goals with both global and regional stakeholders.
- Enable processes for improving and sharing best practices to drive NPS, deal performance, strategic engagement.
- Strategic Projects-
- Work closely with functional, regional, and global management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and value-add insight / analytical support.
- Help structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to support development of recommendations on a wide range of business challenges.
- Collaborate with team members in the preparation and delivery of internal and client facing presentations.
- Support MS&A knowledge sharing efforts including managing internal sites, keeping content up to date adding new artifacts, engaging cross-functional partners, driving usage / change management and monitoring analytics.
- Data and Analytics-
- Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis utilizing multiple data sources ensuring financial soundness / strategic alignment of recommendations.
- Analyze data and package for internal / client usage, creating an executable action plan tailored to our specific needs.
- Position reports to the San Francisco, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a business analyst-related occupation.
- Position requires experience in the following
- Global payment knowledge / experience with a focus on the seller side (e.g., merchant or acquirers);
- Cross-functional stakeholder management including engagement with executives;
- Understanding of modelling to develop internal business cases to inform decision making;
- Crafting presentations for executive engagements;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
- Gathering and analyzing information from multiple data platforms;
- Managing business operations and setting organizational goals;
- Project managing across multiple initiatives;
- Leveraging internal and external resources to create fact-bases, identify trends, and identify potential opportunities and risks; and
- Supplementary knowledge in pricing/interchange, and commercial deal structuring and modelling
Additional Information
Worksite: San Francisco, CA
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $159,100.00 USD to $254,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
