Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day account management activities for your customers, both on issuing and acquiring topics
  • Build-up and further develop strong relationships with your customers at business and operational levels
  • Accountable for the assigned revenue targets
  • Work as a consultant for your customers to understand requirements, business impact and the potential for offering new services and solutions to jointly grow the business
  • Identify and size the opportunity for value propositions that leverage core product capabilities including Tokenization, Click to Pay, Tap2Phone, Visa Direct, Visa Acceptance Solutions, tink, Verifi and many more

  • Consultatively identifying and understanding client business needs and crafting solutions that grow the business and increase satisfaction with Visa products and services.
  • Launch pilots of new and existing propositions to test new concepts and use these as a foundation for commercial launches and to showcase Visa capabilities
  • Work on the annual strategic business/account plans for the client, in alignment with the Group Client lead to grow and optimize Visa’s product/portfolio and services
  • Prepare annual business and account plans for your customers to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Engage with colleagues across Visa, ensuring teams such as product, innovation, marketing, and consulting are appropriately involved and informed about their client needs, in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of all Visa products and services, with expert knowledge in certain areas including demonstrating the willingness for continuous learning on the job
  • Develop excellent knowledge of the payment technology space, and specifically of Visa products and services.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications
    9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

    5+ years of substantial business experience with 3+ years’ experience managing strategic relationships with financial services and technology solution providers
    Proven track record and business experience on issuing and acquiring related projects in an international environment
    Open minded and excited about the future technologies, willing to learn and work in a multicultural environment
    Effective influencing and communication skills to secure buy-in from clients and stakeholders
    Commercial understanding and the ability to identify opportunities and proactively propose solutions
    Highly skilled communicator, both written and verbal

    The Senior Group AE for Issuing & Acquiring is responsible for the overall rollout and coordination of the Group Client partnership program for issuing and acquiring projects. It also includes initiatives and follow ups on actions from Group Client engagements internally and externally.
