The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our new market expansion team at Tink, a part of Visa Open Banking. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in every stage of the development process, leveraging your expertise to champion a quality-first approach throughout the team.

Your role: 

  • Design code and systems that drives new standards of Open Banking technologies

  • Collaborate closely with talented engineers who possess deep knowledge of our existing software environment.

  • Work with a diverse array of Tink’s technologies, including Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, Datadog, and more.

  • Establish and maintain development standards for both frontend and backend development efforts.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification
-2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of
relevant work experience
-Proficiency in technologies like Java, cloud, Kubernetes, Docker and more
-Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, product-centric environment.
-Strong familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.
-Willingness for collaboration with others to support the piloting of new
technology capabilities and features that enhance Open Banking solutions to new
markets

Preferred Qualification
-Proven experience working with Java technologies
-Experience with a fast-paced environment that is product centric
-Experience from working with DevOps methodologies and tools
-Experience working with agile methodologies
