As Senior Product Manager, Commercial Travel Data Solutions you will be part of the Visa Commercial Data Solutions which is part of the broader Global Card Products and Platforms. The Global Card Products and Platforms team is responsible for all cardable solutions for businesses and public entities globally, providing payment and value-added services to businesses, corporations, and governments.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Commercial Travel Data Solutions program which includes the Online Travel and Central Travel Account based Commercial Data Solutions. The role will focus on working with other product managers, Account Executives, Client Services and external data providers to contribute to the overall Travel and Enhanced Data strategy. In addition, you will focus on execution of a global roadmap working with other product managers, 3rd party partners, Visa Technology, Global and Regional teams to deliver functionality to meet issuer, acquirer and business client needs.

The role requires analytical, collaborative and technical product skills. It requires the ability to have a customer centric approach to deliver innovate data solutions in a timely manner with effective client communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Senior Product Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the product features & initiatives for the OTA/CTA Travel DATA Solutions and deliver substantial value to VCS Issuers, Acquirers & Business Clients

• In this role, the Senior Product Manager will work closely with product teams, client services, engineering, architects, global cross-functional counterparts to build, scalable & competitive platforms that can meet global market needs

• Responsible for thoughtful leadership on latest commercial travel payment trends and harnessing data to help build commercial travel data solutions for our clients’ sustainable business growth

• Responsible for expanding the OTA and CTA travel data solutions through enhanced data capabilities to improve travel reporting, expense management and performance of clients’ travel programs.

• Responsible for writing very clear, thorough, and detailed user stories for features and product sets

• Having a ‘Can do attitude’ and work with technology teams to develop use cases, and prioritize user stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that aligned with product strategy.

• Responsible for conducting User Acceptance Testing to ensure successful business releases.

• Hands on data exploration and analyses of large data sets to enable data driven stories and product features.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
· 8 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
· 8+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
· This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience working with commercial card solutions or platforms
. Work experience at an Online Travel Agency or Travel Technology company
· Working experience with Hadoop big data & API environments in banking/payments industry as well as understanding of payments industry data and metrics is desirable.
· Working experience with AI/ML, data modeling and dashboard implementations.
· Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices and should be well versed with agile processes and methodologies.
· The role requires strong interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross-functional teams to implement and assess the operational impact of changes to processes/procedures.
· Strong ability to multi-task, organize, manage, and implement complex projects whether directly or through supervision of a designated Product Manager.
· Demonstrated expertise/power user in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word) and experience with MS Office Access.
· Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
· Excellent business ethics is required, the successful candidate will have experience, and demonstrated success in the above listed core competencies.

· Experience in working with Issuers, Acquirers and business clients in the financial industry with data system skills is preferred.
