Team Summary

The Consumer Solutions Senior Manager, Korea & Mongolia will be part of a dedicated market team that is focused on growing the Visa business and penetration of product solutions and capabilities in Korea & Mongolia markets.

What a Senior Product Manager, Consumer Solutions does at Visa:

  • Lead development of the Korea & Mongolia consumer solutions product strategy including but not limited to consumer value proposition, product rules, pricing, infrastructure capabilities and thought leadership materials
  • Lead and manage development of market insights and product intelligence for Korea & Mongolia
  • Identify and assess opportunities to drive growth in the Core product portfolios (Consumer Credit, Debit, Prepaid) with emphasis on Affluent, Millennials, MZ segments. Clearly identify and communicate robust business benefits to support clients and Visa business cases
  • Lead as a subject matter expert in product/portfolio strategy including new product development, cardholder loyalty and cross-border spending to ensure timely delivery of ideas and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement Visa Korea & Mongolia consumer product roadmap and drive new benefit strategy, design and execution by leveraging strategic alliance with merchants in key target industries (i.e. airlines, luxury brands, on/offline retail, hotels, airport, etc.)
  • Build strong working relationships with issuers and partners to ensure a high level of satisfaction with product platform and project implementation which ultimately leads to new issuance mandates as well as net increase in number of credentials
  • Lead development of Go-To-Market plans for Visa’s various consumer related capabilities to clients in Korea & Mongolia
  • Work closely with Global/HUB Product Teams to develop new value propositions for prioritized consumer segments
  • Work closely with Account Executive team and other functional teams on key strategic initiatives that drive growth of consumer portfolios and revenues
  • Lead execution of the Korea & Mongolia Business Plan and ensure initiatives, budget and KPIs are met consistently

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Bachelor degree with at least 10+ years of payments industry and progressively responsible business experience
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing and launching new card / payments products in Korea
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills with a keen eye for data extraction, manipulation and insight development with limited data
  • Be a leader, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively

What will also help:

  • Preferably work experience in retail / digital banking, consulting or fintech with a proven track record of executing projects for high-performing cross-functional teams
  • Advanced knowledge of the Korea payments landscape, emerging players, business models, and trends is preferred
  • Comfortable in working independently while effectively working across functional lines and managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to be creative and manage competing priorities to achieve desired end state
