The Buyer & Seller Product Go to Market Senior Manager, CEE has primary ownership and accountability for bringing Visa core products and solutions to market in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to ensure Visa continues to hold its leadership position, as well as driving the growth of core products and premium portfolios.

The individual in this role will be responsible for developing effective consumer product sales propositions within the scope of core products and solutions, with a strong focus on affluent and premium segments. Additionally, s/he will leverage expertise from subject matter experts and thought leadership to assist account executives in winning new business.  

The Buyer & Seller Product Go to Market Senior Manager works closely with other Product teams, Client Engagement and Merchant Sales & Acquiring as well as other stakeholders such as Processing, Risk, Finance, Marketing teams to deliver on projects that are typically complex, strategic and cross-functional in nature, as well as to continuously increase card usage and Payment Volumes.

The candidate must have strong coordination and project management skills to be able to deliver on large cross-functional projects working with colleagues and partners across multiple geographies and time zones. Finally, s/he should be able to demonstrate track record of negotiating favourable conditions and efficiently working with third parties (merchants, solution providers, companies in other industries) in order that s/he can obtain valuable benefits for Consumer affluent and premium clients, to build competitive affluent & premium value propositions and manage benefits/rewards platforms for consumers and companies.

The role will primarily focus on:

  • Owner of the Visa core products and solutions in the Czech and Slovakia markets (Debit, Credit, Loyalty, Premium and Sustainability)
  • Identify strategic opportunities for Visa through a strong understanding of various customer segment business needs, leveraging Visa solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market share for strategic Financial and non-financial accounts.
  • Working hand-in-hand with colleagues from other functional areas the role holder must be a catalyst for development of new solutions leveraging Visa’s and external platform capabilities.
  • Advanced understanding of market dynamics and provide inputs into country strategies and account plans.
  • Track competition activity and continually be focused on ensuring that Visa’s products and solutions deployed in the market meet all relevant consumer payment needs.
  • Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with the clients and within Visa organisation
  • Development and delivery of benefits platforms dedicated to consumers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
  • Business ownership and management of all benefits’ platforms and processes for the Czech Republic & Slovakia (e.g. web sites, VMORC, MyVisa, GMap, OpenCard, etc.) in terms of its implementation, growth, further development
  • Source and work with local agencies and partners to align, source, map and prepare all local offers and benefits for publishing and client readiness, for the Czech Republic & Slovakia.
  • Work with Visa clients to leverage the benefits platform as part of their client proposition.
  • Explore and implement options of Benefits’ programs monetisation and revenue recognition.
  • Explore and establish success measures for all Benefits’ programs, as base for further improvements and prioritization
  • Management of Visa Core Products events in the Czech Republic & Slovakia

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Qualifications

What we're after?

  • Proven experience in project management and/ or product management in the financial sector, on the commercial side (e.g, products, sales, business development, customer experience)
  • Proven experience and knowledge of financial/banking services. Experience and knowledge of payment cards and/or Digital banking is an advantage.
  • Experience with affluent and premium consumer segments strategies is an advantage.
  • Ability to influence people, plan, prioritize and track execution across cross-functional matrix and with external partners.
  • Ability to effectively engage with and manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in Czech/Slovak and English written and verbal
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
