Job Description

Team summary

Visa credentials are accepted in 200+ countries. The XB team across the region and globe provides thought leadership for strategic cross border growth initiatives, while collaborating, in this case, with cross functional teams at Visa, in India and South Asia to drive increased payments on Visa credentials at Cross border merchants, (Card Present and Card not present), as we accelerate visa's business into the future.

What does a Senior Manager - Cross Border do at Visa:

  • Set up and run the project management on key Cross Border initiatives and governance
  • Work with cross functional teams on determining and tracking success metrics, and escalation where required
  • Combination of strategy and implementation, including opportunities to plan and execute partnerships that can facilitate higher Visa cross border card usage / growth.
  • High on visibility with reporting to and working with the Business leadership team for India / South Asia

This is a key role for Visa as it sits at the cusp of strategy, business planning, and the execution of key strategic initiatives to drive Visa's Issuing and Acquiring cross border business that is a major contributor to the P&L of the region.

 

 

Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 8 years+ experience in financial services, payments preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have experience primarily with a Retail Bank Cards Team in driving portfolio optimization, business development or partnerships
  • MBA from tier 1 institute preferred
  • Experience of working with cross functional teams in driving outcomes and interacting directly with C-suite stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, results driven, flexible, customer focused. Should be a strong team-player
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and an effective communicator who can build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to use data effectively for driving insight and decision making - i.e., demonstrated ability to solve business problems with data
  • Knowledge of Indian payments industry and trends
