The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core solutions. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments. We work closely with Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. As our product suite grows and develops more complex options for clients, it is imperative that we have specific, deep knowledge of our capabilities to support sales teams and clients and convey where/how clients can make the most use of our capabilities. The Product Solution Design Sr Manager is responsible for technical solutioning, client engagement and “voice of the customer” for Visa Commercial Solutions with a focus on our Partner Program and APIs that enable B2B use cases. This position is accountable for driving detailed discussions with clients and delivering client-focused solutions. Additionally, the position will also provide expertise to solution for new areas of opportunity that may include new use cases, FinTech constructs or verticals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional that understands both the business and technical aspects of payments and has a track record of delivering solutions that exceed client expectations. The candidate will bring prior experience in hands-on client management, product, sales solutioning and close knowledge of developments in B2B payments. The candidate must be creative and hands-on, have a bias towards action, and inspire others with their vision.
Essential Functions
- Work with sales teams to support the pre-sales engagement with key distribution partners for Visa B2B solutions (issuers, enablers, service providers), gaining deeper understanding of SMB and Large-Middle Market needs, priorities and use cases to support the sell in cycle.
- Deliver technical sales solutioning for optimized onboarding and new integrated solutions. Product types include virtual card solutions, API integrations for B2B payment capabilities, and complex data solutions
- Partner with sales and partner teams to implement existing products to solve new business problems and capture requirements for areas that require development
- Assist Issuers, FinTechs and other ecosystem partners with onboarding onto the Visa Developer platform and other Visa Commercial Solution platforms
- Lead focused discovery sessions and workshops with clients and partners across a range of industries to understand client’s specific business requirements and value drivers
- Bring breadth of knowledge and technical expertise to solution for new use cases, FinTechs, and verticals. Pinpoint and enable use cases related to commercial applications with the goal of scaling. Develop a solution design and the necessary configuration that will effectively demonstrate that Visa can address the client’s needs and provide business value
- Drive adoption, best practices, and quantifiable value for our largest customers and during this process help create impactful relationships and strive to become their trusted advisor
- Optimize and expedite the partner onboarding process, actively engage with partners on feedback, and develop metrics to highlight progress, gaps and success criteria.
- Act as a subject matter expert on B2B product capabilities, use cases, and roadmap. Support stakeholder questions related to products and services. Communicate and evangelize product roadmap with key stakeholders
- Confidently present and articulate the business value of your proposed solution to business managers and executives
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• 6+ years of relevant sales engineering or product management experience
• Understanding of B2B payments with in-depth knowledge of virtual card payments, value-added solutions for corporates, payment tokenization, and issuer processing platforms/providers
• Ability to translate client needs into solution designs by adapting existing products and services
• Experience with modern API concepts, technical integration, and file delivery
• Strong oral and written communications. Able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner
• Proficiency in product design and user flows will be considered an asset
• Strong documentation, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders and partners.

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• The role requires leadership, interpersonal, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in cross-functional teams
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 186,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
