Job Description

This role will be responsible for the full product lifecycle of our core large mid-market (LMM) segment product offering in the Asia Pacific region.  This includes leading and contributing to the rules, construct, program designs that serve the needs of our issuers and their LMM client segment.  This role requires a strong sense of ownership, skillful problem solving and covers a broad spectrum of enabling Travel and Expense, and B2B use cases on commercial cards, as you will work in close collaboration with regional counterparts taking new solutions from vision to launch.

  • Drive and manage program launches and rollouts of Commercial Issuance products and solutions in the region.
  • Track, retain and grow our T&E and B2B payment volume through understanding client needs and proposing optimization and growth opportunities for our issuing clients
  • Develop and own new product offering including new Client Value Proposition across funding sources and across different brands of card programs for the region including premium tiers based on regional and local market needs.
  • Co-ordinate Cross Border and Multinational issuance programs in the region and supporting our global initiatives ensuring that programs meet local, regional governance requirements
  • Manage our Debit, Prepaid program implementation and review process
  • Ensure end-to-end product and programs roll out are documented and stakeholders managed from a governance perspective
  • Support Issuer roll out of Commercial Programs including commercialization
  • Collect and organize market intelligence and client specific feedback from financial institutions and fintech’s and businesses to contribute to the strategic global product roadmap for prioritization and provide Best Practice programs in the region
  • Capture Voice-of-Customer to identity potential product enhancement opportunities. 
  • Provide education and training to internal and external stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years' experience involving product development, management, presales consulting and launching new products, experience in commercial issuance will be an advantage
  • Some experience with either working for or with card networks and understand the four party model
  • Skilled in designing comprehensive solutions that are relevant to the client's needs.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills that can effectively engage and influence closing an opportunity with market sales teams as an SME.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and create project teams with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to research, understand business process and to propose ideas to deliver solutions
  • Keen attention to detail and organized and committed to execution and continuous product enhancement
  • A proactive and collaborative problem-solver who can work independently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including senior executives.
