Job Description

The Senior Manager, Partnerships will play an important role in the Mobility Solutions business unit by developing and executing a partner strategy to drive overall performance in our Urban Mobility vertical. This role reports to the Senior Director, Head of Urban Mobility, who reports to the VP, Mobility Solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in selling software solutions to the Urban Mobility industry, ideally with experience working in a global team.

Top-3 Accountabilities

  • In partnership with the Head of Urban Mobility, aligns and executes on a partnership engagement strategy, prioritization, targeting and ongoing partnership management, enabling AANR goals by region.
  • Owns relationships with MSA and Specialist Sales leaders to align on the pipeline of deals.
  • Supports specialized sales process, articulates compelling Acceptance Solutions value propositions, and helps build of a thriving partner ecosystem, driving new onboards to the Directory platform.

What we expect of you day-to-day:

Your focus will be to help establish then execute a partnership strategy and program in collaboration with our regional working teams to accelerate the growth of Acceptance Solutions in Urban Mobility. The focus will be on:

  • Initiative leadership: build relationships with key sponsors, working team stakeholders and manage overall performance towards FY25 AANR goals.
  • Leading overall performance management: provide oversight of the end-to-end program and develop recommendations and activities to drive partner sales and activation from your unique global vantage point.
  • Identifying risks: identify and provide leadership with visibility into known partner risks to initiative success.  

Align on partner pipelines through:

  • Identifying the key partners, challenges, opportunities and help shape the approach - in concert with working team colleagues - to engage with them to explore win-win growth opportunities.
  • Ensuring sales collateral meets sales team needs: Provide input to internal & external collateral in support of partner growth and merchant positioning for partners, within a cohesive overall vertical narrative.
  • Identifying & ensuring best use of sales enablement tools: provide active feedback on the adequacy of partner engagement materials, including value propositions (pitch decks), calculators, client metrics, and dashboards with the aim of identifying and winning new or expanded partnership deals.

Establish and develop internal partners and stakeholders:

  • Help to standardize approach in regions: Align with Business Optimization to ensure partner execution can be delivered effectively in each region, identifying and reflecting organizational regional nuance, and identify resource gaps.
  • Sales training: Orchestrate specialist and generalist sales education and awareness through training.
  • Become the voice of our partners within the Mobility Solutions function, influencing solutions roadmap both in terms of new or enhanced functionalities, supporting the development of business cases where relevant.

Qualifications

  • Experience selling software products and solutions into the Urban Mobility segment.
  • Strong sense of accountability and self-motivation.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to take ownership of detail when producing written deliverables to executives.
  • Ability to collaborate across the organisation and influence beyond authority.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and applying these strategically.
  • Knowledge of the payment acceptance landscape.
