We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager in London, UK to join our Organization Design team, reporting to the VP of Organization Design within our Global Talent team. This role will play a key role in shaping our organization's future and delivery of our Visa 2030 strategy, by supporting Visa and our businesses to align structure, roles, and responsibilities with our strategic goals.

We are looking for subject matter expertise and experience in organization design, as well as the passion, strategic thinking, and collaboration to partner with key stakeholders to help drive long-term organizational strategies for Visa, delivering maximum impact and outcomes for our business and our people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and supporting on a range of strategic and tactical organization design topics across Visa’s global organization, through from supporting strategic goal and model definition to advising on implementation. They will play a critical role in helping to deliver Visa’s long-term strategic goals – helping establish critical organization design foundations that enable our OD, Talent and People teams to support business priorities, optimize business performance, and enhance team effectiveness. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the development of critical organization design foundations to inform consistent, effective organization design and team effectiveness across Visa, including design and delivery of OD guidance, resources and training
  • Support People Business Partner teams and business lines with translating business strategy into clear recommendations for OD change, including support and advisory on strategic reviews & OD goal setting, model options, detailed design, and implementation planning
  • Partner with relevant teams to provide organizational design and skills data and insights, and offer advisory support to interpret and action opportunities alongside wider Talent and People considerations
  • Lead & support OD components of wider People team and transformation initiatives, integrating OD approaches into broader talent / role architecture, workforce planning, skills-based change, and talent mgmt. cycles
  • Work with peers in wider Talent and People teams to advocate consistent organizational design at Visa, support our skills strategy, and align to broader talent management, acquisition and learning strategies

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in multiple organizational design initiatives, preferably within a complex, multi-regional organization
  • Strong understanding of key organizational design principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to business leaders and business partners to drive effective decision making – with strong experience in developing and presenting complex materials and topics in an influential manner
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with successfully and collaboratively implementing change, incl. long-term strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong consultative skills and collaborative, innovative mindset, embracing creativity, optimism, and ambiguity
  • Experience in job architecture and skills-based organizations
