Job Description

The RSS Data Science Senior Consultant is responsible for the vision and execution on evolving our data towards next-generation functionality.  This position will work closely with Visa data engineers, technology and the Visa Predictive Modeling team to design and deliver automated data solutions which assess and optimize the client’s risk decisions within Visa’s Risk and Identity Solutions products. This position will explore data solutions and tools such as Generative AI, chatbots, and predictive models to achieve optimization of performance across Visa’s risk platforms. The RSS Data Science Senior Consultant will manage a small team of dedicated analysts and data scientists to support this effort.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 10 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Relevant work experience:
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a management position
• Strong understanding of machine learning, predictive modeling, and AI
• Advanced Knowledge of data analysis tools and software
• Collaborating on and with enterprise-wide products, projects, and programs
• Deriving insights and action items through analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office)
• Excellent presentation, consultative, and communication skills
